Join the Human Rights team! Twitter’s Human Rights team defends the rights of our users and those who could be impacted by our service. We surface risks to human rights proactively, while collaborating with teams across the company on effective and scalable solutions to address those risks.
We are seeking an organized, resourceful, collaborative, and self-motivated teammate to help implement Twitter’s commitment to human rights across our business. This role is vital to ensuring that we identify the most significant and emerging human rights risks, and implement effective mitigations to prevent and address harm. You will help place human rights at the core of Twitter’s operations by doing the following

Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience at the intersection of tech and human rights.
- Expertise in human rights issues related to Twitter’s service, including freedom of expression, privacy, non-discrimination, peace and conflict, digital rights/tech policy, or related fields.
- Prior experience in a relevant role in a tech company (T&S/content policy, human rights, integrity, legal/compliance, or public policy/external engagement)
- Proven track-record of driving complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated strong time-management skills and the ability to balance priorities.
- Desire and ability to learn new subject areas and skills.
- Fluency in languages in addition to English preferred.
- Expertise in specific geographic regions other than the North America/Western Europe preferred (APAC, MENA, LatAm, etc.)
