Job Description

Technology & Data at TfL is going from strength to strength. From contactless payments to implementing the ticketing infrastructure and operational systems for the new Elizabeth Line – we’re rolling out new innovations to improve our customer and employee experience.
Our technology is often cutting edge and we are being constantly challenged to deliver change quickly. Over the next 3 to 5 years Technology & Data is investing in transforming it’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions which manage supply chain, commercial, finance, human resources and business planning activities. Our ERP product of choice is SAP Intelligence Enterprise. Taking ownership of the full product lifecycle, we are seeking a driven person to join the ERP Transformation Portfolio team to help shape and modernise the way TfL applies ERP technology in support of our frontline operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder relationship practices encompassing the identification, sensing and shaping of demand/pain points and implementation of business change throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Delivery of several initiatives within the change portfolio, including all commercial, technical and business change to meet the customer need and business strategy.
  • Formulating product strategy, product vision, roadmaps and investment plans for TfL Operational areas to support the development and maintenance of an overall ERP Strategy in SAP Intelligence Enterprise systems.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong commercial acumen; able to competently support commercial negotiations and input into commercial activities.
  • You should be able to systematically define and implement product development lifecycle strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability and gravitas to influence at senior levels with positive effect.
  • You should have the ability to establish and document business needs and outcomes.
  • We need you to have strong modelling, investigation and research skills. You should be able to translate complex sources of information into clear concepts that inform making choices. This should include defining total cost of ownership, whole life product costing and return on investment indicators.
