Job Description
TfL’s marketing partnerships team are responsible for securing value-in-kind partnerships that support our business objectives and amplify our marketing campaigns. Our partners help us by providing incentives, insight, and expertise. They allow us to speak to more people in authentic ways that TfL cannot do alone. We work with a diverse portfolio of partners ranging from London’s major attractions, theatres and museums through to book publishers, TV stations, charities and mindfulness apps.
TfL is one of the most recognisable brands in the world, often referred to as the heartbeat of London. Our marketing campaigns reach millions of people every day on their way to work, and across a variety of channels.
Responsibilities:
- Providing effective support to the partnership team, ensuring that all partners act in compliance with TfL standards and procedures and can act in a way that supports the TfL brand and ethics, and assist in ensuring the Partners activation rights are delivered in accordance with the joint agreement.
- Support the delivery plans for the sales of Visitor Oyster cards through key partner relationships, including monitoring fulfilment and financial reporting to ensure that TfL maximises and grows its share of earnings from Visitor Oyster Ticketing
- Governance management of TfL’s marketing partners, ensuring accurate value in kind marketing campaigns are developed, preparing and pitching to campaigns, ensuring relevant contracts and agreements are prepared and stored, developing integrated marketing and comms plans to support partnership activity.
- Assist effectively in the delivery of loyalty and reward programmes that increase public transport use to fulfil
- Mayoral agenda to transform London into a less polluted city and one that is safe for pedestrians and cyclists
- Providing strong and reliable administration and tracking support to enable good relationship management with partners involved in visitor and the leisure market to leverage mutually beneficial marketing partnerships
- Supporting the delivery of pan TfL initiatives that build our reputation e.g. RideLondon, Car Free Day, Access All Areas
Requirements:
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- Continually seeking out new, innovative and different approaches to establish commercially successful partnerships
- Evidenced commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Presentational skills including developing slick presentation material
- Good business and organisational skills
