Job Description

DS Smith has undergone an ambitious change programme to transform its support functions (Finance, Procurement and Plant Maintenance) across multiple regions in Europe and now the US. This involves the implementation of new technology, new processes, changes to organisational structure and several efficiency projects. In order to maintain this change DS Smith have a Global Process Improvement team and are currently recruiting for a Transformation & Change Lead to deliver change projects that support Group, SSC organisation, and Business objectives and contribute to Common Global standards.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate benefits, plan for initiation, define objectives and drive implementation
• Develop project objectives & plans, KPI’s and Benefit tracking
• Review implementation progress through activity & benefit tracking and leading regular stakeholder review meetings
• Measure, review, produce and circulate progress reports as required

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor level (or equivalent via experience)
• Demonstrable finance knowledge and experience
• Proven experience and knowledge of change management principles, change methodologies and project management principles
• Passion for driving change and an ability to influence culture at all levels
• Impact focus, relentless drive to eliminate system waste
• Strong analytical skills & problem-solving ability (root cause identification skills)
• Hands-on mentality, actively drive and support continuous improvement, using lean principles
• Understand high level end to end key processes steps for P2P, Q2C, and R2R
• Ability to learn quickly
