Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate Production Lead that will join a rapidly growing network. Parcast creates content consumed by millions of people, while working with a diverse and talented production team. You will have the opportunity to creatively oversee a team of Sound Designers, assemble and mix a wide variety of podcasts. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences podcasts.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll be responsible for overseeing a team of veteran sound designers. This includes scheduling engineering, production/editing/mixing and delivery of podcast episodes.
• You’ll be expected to produce pilots and initial episodes of new programs, in addition to managing the team
• You will respond in a timely way to scheduling requests; consult with the Managing Director, Studio Manager and other leads to assess details such as deadlines or necessary resources.
• You should have the ability to identify and solve technical and logistical problems when possible.
• Work with other Spotify Studios in planning and executing strategies for cross functional projects.

Requirements:

• You have 10+ years professional audio and managerial experience.
• You hold a working knowledge and understanding of relevant technology.
• You possess the ability to adapt to various styles of storytelling production.
• You are comfortable with tight deadlines and working under pressure.
• You can work independently and on your own initiative.
• You possess an outstanding attention to detail.
• You are experienced with various Audio Workstations with expertise in at least 1.
• You have a deep understanding of post-session tasks ( i.e- trim/mixdown, create .MP3 or WAV files).
• You are welcoming of creative input and constructive feedback, while advocating and promoting your own agenda and direction for audio design.
• You care about the quality of the product and your good reputation within the industry.
• You are okay with producing content that may feature the “darker side” of life.
