Responsibilities:

  • Comply with data and cyber security obligations
  • Identify, manage and report on project dependencies, milestones, critical path, and potential risks and issues, ensuring that appropriate and effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans exist, are agreed and acted upon
  • Establish and operate Financial control (budgets £1m-£10m)
  • Agree span of control (management by exception/ tolerances)
  • Establish and maintain unambiguous controls (Constraints; Actions; Risks; Dependencies; Deliverables; D
  • ecisions; Issues; Change; Assumptions)
  • Escalate as and when necessary via the established governance routes
  • Establish project meeting cadence
  • Agree formal project gateways and corporate governance obligations
  • Adherence to project reporting processes
  • Create an agreed schedule baseline and manage under strict change control
  • Ensure proactive management of stakeholders and project communications
  • Ensure Business Change activities are in place appropriate to the Project(s).

Requirements:

  • Experience in collaborating with Engineering functions in Supply Chain organisations
  • Experience managing Matrix Teams – responsible for up to 20 matrix reports in addition to supplier resources
  • Proven experience proactively managing risks, issues – project management accountabilities.
  • Communication – High degree of competence in verbal and written communication to a broad audience; and excellent, clear and succinct written communication
  • Good delegation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Financial management
  • Demonstrate resilience, persistence, flexibility and drive to maintain progress and resolve issues
  • Commercial acumen and value driven supplier management
