Position Title: Workplace Coordinator

Job Description:

Ripple is looking for an experienced San-Francisco based Workplace Coordinator to join our team! As the Workplace Coordinator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the day-to-day operations at Ripple HQ in San Francisco. You will partner with outside vendors to manage and implement programs and be responsible for leading facilities projects. You are a diligent and resourceful problem-solver, able to iterate until the right solution is found. You can easily collaborate and communicate with internal teams and external partners. You are excellent at vendor management and contract negotiation. You are organized, methodical, with a clear ability to move projects forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Owning and managing relationships with our outside vendors, including cleaning, maintenance, catering and building services
  • Gather complaints, feedback or suggestions from employees and relay to Workplace environment for consideration
  • Coordinate space planning and support; assist in updating floor plans, perform moves and new hire space assignments with IT
  • Help set up furniture & food for events/meetings
  • Attention to safety, cleanliness and the day-to-day efficient functioning of the HQ office environment
  • Schedules preventative maintenance, respond to urgent maintenance calls and participate in the creation of emergency preparedness plans
  • Develop and assist with the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure an efficient and safe operation for the office environment
  • Assist with issuance of security badges and security audits
  • Create PO’s, reconcile invoices, coordinate cross functional efforts with key stakeholders
  • Maintain building operations and emergency procedure, etc
  • Coordinate mail, shipping and receiving request
  • Purchase office & kitchen supplies as required

Requirements:

Associates degree with 2-4 years of facilities experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-up skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience using facilities ticketing systems
