Job Description

The Purpose of the Role
This role will be supporting (leading where appropriate) the Post Office credit card product, which is a major component of the Post Office’s lending suite. The successful candidate will join the business in growth mode, and will bring experience in delivering multiple initiatives, from small-scale marketing optimizations to big, revenue-driving tech projects, all scalable with profitable economics with postmaster and customer focus and in line with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities: 

• Experience in managing complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders to bring products or customer journey improvements to market
• Strong understanding of FCA regulation and proven ability to consistently implement this into the proposition
• Commercial and financial/numerate aptitude/acumen, willingness to do what it takes, willingness to identify challenges and drive to solve
• Consumer financial services experience a plus, credit card industry experience preferred
• Experience in working with branch/store networks a plus
• Experience of working with and managing to commercial outcomes

Requirements: 

 

• Self-starting, action-orientated style, willing to roll sleeves up, get into the detail, while not losing focus on wider business context
• Strong understanding of FCA regulation and proven ability to consistently implement this into the proposition
• Educated to degree or equivalent level
• Comfort with data and ability to develop and present detailed business cases to stakeholders, internal and external
