Job Description:

As the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Executive you will be responsible for delivering customer-focused and profitable multi-category SEO projects & campaigns to agreed targets. You will assist with the creation, optimisation and reporting of SEO campaigns and requirements using a combination of on page, off page, local and technical methods.

Responsibilities:

• Working to develop SEO friendly site architectures, content management and having a ‘mobile first’ approach along with other technical requirements
• Assisting competitive benchmarking, analysis and monitoring
• Creating and distributing SEO reports and analysis that measure the effectiveness of SEO & content activities across the Pets at Home Group
• Working closely with our SEO & Content agency
• Carrying out keyword research to support new and existing SEM campaigns
• Creating and optimising meta data on Ecommerce and static content pages
• Supporting with external sustainable link acquisition campaigns
• Managing the ‘Google My Business’ store listings account to ensure accurate and optimised store listings

Requirements:

• A scientific approach to rank, organic traffic analysis
• Experience with Search Console and a good working knowledge of Analytical software and site crawling tools such as; Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.
• Good attention to detail and comfortable with large data sets and complex tasks
• An organised approach, able to prioritise around tight deadlines
• Excellent agency management skills
• Understanding search intent / customer journey
• Comfortable dealing with large site structures
• Good understanding of development processes (HTML, PHP and JavaScript)
