Job Description:

This role sits within the National Trust Consultancy and you will be based at the National Trust Saddlescombe Farm near Brighton. However, there is an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the individual projects you will be delivering

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of four direct reports who manage the visitor facing teams at each property and oversee the visitor journey whether online, onsite or events and exhibitions
•  You will work closely with the General Manager and Leadership team to deliver in 2022/23 the Heritage Skills Centre in Coleshill with new carpark, exhibitions spaces, course studios and toilets.
• Leading on stakeholder mapping and developing our community work including our Children and Young people work as Coleshill is one of the national hubs for this.

Requirements:

• Inspiring leadership including coaching, team development, motivation and communication.
• Excellent people and influencing skills, enabling strong relationships externally and internally, to be built and maintained. Experience of working with external agencies, contractors and organisations.
• Relevant qualification, in art/heritage/natural environment or relevant audience-focused experience subject (e.g. hospitality, tourism, business).
• Extensive operation experience in outdoor visitor experience, customer service delivery ideally at a large or multi-site outdoor property.
