The UK business is our #2 market globally. In June 2018, we announced plans to invest $2.5 billion over the next five years to support our growing customer base here. We continue to grow our presence with offices in London and Manchester. In May 2018, we opened the Salesforce Innovation Centre (SIC) at Salesforce Tower London and in 2019 an Ohana Floor to host our employees and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Salesforce for Government delivers business value applications to Central, Devolved, and Local Government departments.Salesforce for Government enables departments to build stronger connections between citizens, employees, governments and services, enabling departments to become more responsive, effective, and above all, efficient.
• The Salesforce for Government proposition is based on transforming citizen user experience whilst at the same time driving departmental and technology efficiencies through a platform driven approach.
• We are recruiting a Public Sector Strategic Client Director who will lead the long term Account strategy for DWP (Department for Work and Pensions).
• The successful candidate will display the following core qualities; deep cross Government industry expertise, strong LOB ( Line of Business) presence and Executive partnerships, successful record leading cloud based transformation in the sector, and, a strategic mindset motivated by a desire to drive meaningful and lasting outcomes to the industry.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of selling applications at C-level into UK Government, preferably DWP. Equally, we are interested to hear from individuals who have led large digital transformation programmes.
• You will have 10+ years of quota carrying software or consultative sales, strong business development, and market making skills, executive selling, and experience of creating diverse and transformational virtual teams.
