Responsibilities:

• Build a pipeline of interesting corporate stories and leverage opportunities to highjack the news agenda
• Act as the UK&I risk and reputation expert, supporting the Head of Reputation & Communications to spot and help mitigate
• Ensure crisis procedures are current, fit for purpose and embedded across the organisation
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives and teams across the business, as well as prepare colleagues for external engagements – interviews, panels, roundtables, key notes etc.
• Support the Head of Reputation and Communication in the development of the UK&I public affairs strategy, and work with stakeholders to deliver it, inc. our approach for engaging with NGOs, government agencies, regulatory bodies and other public organisations
• Agency management

Requirements:

• 5yrs+ in corporate PR, media relations or issues management – or ideally a combination
• Delivery in a fast-paced consumer-facing environment
• Excellent writing skills and forensic attention to detail
• Creative thinking, with the ability to spot media opportunities beyond traditional media
• Experience working with and advising senior executives
