Job Description:

You’d be joining this exciting journey, at the start of our scale-up phase, so that we can hit the ambitious targets our shareholders have set. Given the nature of the business, you’ll need to be able to deal with ambiguity, a dynamic environment (as the EV charging value chain is constantly changing) and a fast pace where there is a real focus on results, achieved as a team.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Accounting Department to oversee month-end close, responsible for ensuring the teams’ accruals are appropriate, based on an in-dept understanding of spend expectations, cost drivers and interactions with the cost centre owners and business partners
• In concert with Accounting, support the Business in maintaining efficient finance processes and a robust control environment to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information
• Working with Accounting and Reporting to ensure the information that is entered into ERP system (Oracle) including CPO and infrastructure Capex spend profile is complete and accurate
• Partner with the Accounting team during their external reporting processes to understand the business, its operations, and revenue and cost drivers

Requirements:

• Confident user of ERP systems and willingness to learn
• Detail orientated, when required, out-come focused when appropriate
• Excellent communicator & experience in influencing decisions
• Confident in liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
• Exhibits resilience, patience and comfortable in an agile start-up environment
• Self-driven, determined and demonstrates a high level of initiative
