Responsibilities:
- Test data entry, database/spreadsheet updating, and general office duties including photocopying/scanning/filing of laboratory documents to the electronic document storage space.
- Perform financial tasks such as processing purchase orders for consumables/ equipment, receipting goods and validating supplier invoices including identifying and correcting billing issues.
- Assisting in the maintenance and updating of Laboratory Standard Operating Procedures and related documentation.
- Assist the stability control team in the organisation of the scheduling and sample management for multiple stability studies.
- Engage, support, and assist with the laboratory GLP program, including performing basic laboratory equipment checks and supporting in-house calibration activities.
- Preparation of laboratory reagents and materials in accordance with documented procedures.
- Labelling of product and test samples for laboratory testing and completion of data records associated with laboratory testing.
- Preparation, cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment, glassware and instruments used in testing.
- Perform general housekeeping duties including taking receipt of deliveries, maintaining laboratory cleanliness, organizing inventory stocks and ensuring adequate supplies of consumables/chemicals are available to laboratory staff.
- Ensure all information is documented accurately, that materials are handled correctly, and that all necessary laboratory records and quality data is maintained.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider laboratory leadership team as and when required.
- Create and implement new systems to support more effective working.
- Comply with Health & Safety Standards and Good Laboratory Practice.

- Accuracy, with a strong eye for detail; ability to spot and eradicate errors.
- Have a flexible attitude towards the type of work undertaken; enjoys new challenges.
- Ability to work on own initiative, to tight deadlines and adapting to change as required.
