Job Description:

The archives, modern records, plans, audio-visual and printed material in our strong-rooms contain a vast amount of information about the capital and its people. This material dates from 1067 to the present day.

Responsibilities:

• In this newly created role, you’ll own and lead our equity, diversity and inclusion policies and actions, addressing all aspects of discrimination and barriers to inclusion, enabling our organisation to achieve our creative vision.
• Reporting to our Director of People, Inclusion and Culture, you’ll work effectively across all levels within our organisation to deliver the change required, whilst engaging with external stakeholders including artists, the wider creative sector and community organisation to champion our EDI work and progress.

Requirements:

• We’re looking for a leader who is passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, wanting to make a significant impact in a world-renowned organisation.
• To make this impact, you’ll have a deep understanding of ED&I theory and best practice, and a demonstrable record of embedding action that has led to tangible, positive change.
