Job Description:

The archives, modern records, plans, audio-visual and printed material in our strong-rooms contain a vast amount of information about the capital and its people. This material dates from 1067 to the present day.

Responsibilities:

• The Exhibition Organiser works with the Exhibitions Manager and the whole Visual Arts team, to ensure the highest standard of museum practice in relation to the care of exhibits, coordination and logistical arrangements for our exhibitions in London and at partner venues internationally.
• You’ll have excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills, with the ability to work well under pressure both independently and as part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Requirements:

• You’ll bring proven experience of the art world, in particular exhibition delivery and registrarial work along with previous experience of working on exhibition tours.
• You’ll be working across multiple projects so will need to demonstrate relevant practical experience.
