Job Description:

The archives, modern records, plans, audio-visual and printed material in our strong-rooms contain a vast amount of information about the capital and its people. This material dates from 1067 to the present day.

Responsibilities:

• We’re looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and passionate Marketing Manager to support the Barbican’s diverse international Contemporary Music programme – which ranges from electronic beats to legendary Jazz, global masters and new music – and our vision of arts without boundaries.

Requirements:

• You’ll have a passion for brand and marketing, a preparedness to try new things and an aptitude for developing audiences for our diverse programme through creative and eye-catching marketing campaigns.
• You’ll have experience of taking successful campaigns from planning to implementation to evaluation and familiarity with the full marketing mix, particularly digital marketing.
• A clear and confident communicator, you’ll be comfortable dealing with a number of stakeholders, internal and external. You’ll have line management and budgeting experience and have a flair for writing really engaging copy.
