Job Description

Critical to the future development of the HR service will be the further optimsation of the Core HR (People XD) and associated business processes; the post holder will work alongside the HR Systems & Reporting Manager to deliver on this.
We are currently looking for a HR Services & Payroll Manager to sit within our People Directorate based at Birmingham
As the HR Services and Payroll Manager you will have responsibility for managing the delivery of effective HR and Recruitment Administration and Payroll Services. We are looking for someone that can bring fresh perspective, ideas and challenge ways of doing things to help improve the service that is offered to the business and improve efficiencies along with implementing and measuring against key performance indicators to enable a culture of continuous customer focus and service improvement

 

Responsibilities:

• Experience of managing a HR Services/admin team remotely as well as in person
• Experienced HR Services Manager from a unionised operation and ideally from a rail or transport background
• Effective management of an OH contract
• Management of general HR Admin and Recruitment services
• Employee relations experience for the Case Management aspect of the role
• Management of payroll would be advantageous but not essential
• Preparation of Board/Data Packs and Insights
