Job Description
A Senior IT Service Manager is responsible for service management across platforms, multiple channels, and services to ensure service availability, performance, and process maturity across this landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Providing coaching and guidance to team members, ensuring quality is upheld.
- Responding to queries both verbally and in writing from customers and stakeholders.
- Dealing with sometimes complex case work, making risk-based decisions following Cabinet Office Policy Documentation.
- Conducting further investigations at interview, which may be highly sensitive and emotive.Requirements:
- Carry out Aftercare/Ongoing vetting support to the Business ensuring a complete through life assurance for all vetted individuals.
- Preparation of appeal packs.
- Potential line management of a small number of staff.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to continuously improve the vetting service.
