Job Description:

A customer calls. Her name is Alison, she is calling from New York about an issue with her MATCHESFASHION order. In her previous experience with other brands these phone calls are time-consuming and unhelpful so she is already preparing herself for an irritating conversation. Except that Customer Care means something different at MATCHESFASHION and it’s YOU that picked up her call.

Responsibilities:

• MATCHESFASHION is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join the Data team.
• The role blends analysis and development and would be attractive to an all rounder that enjoys understanding how data is used to generate business insight as well as how the technical implementation of BI can be used to unlock that capability for a wider audience.
• You will operate across multiple data systems and teams, getting global visibility of how MATCHESFASHION functions and serves our customers.
• Your analytically driven mind will help identify what data leads to insights and how to present that in a way that is intuitive for other users to interact with.

Requirements:

• Have a good understanding of Data Warehousing and wider engineering practices.
• Have strong experience of SQL in an analytical context.
• Is an authentic and humble communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable conversing technically with analysts & data engineers and non-technically with business teams.
• Is comfortable within a high paced agile scrum environment and values continuous improvement.
