Position Title:  Service Management Specialist

Job Description:

Energy Markets Digital Technology department is responsible for planning, building and running a greenfield application landscape setup that comprises of central platforms and region-specific solutions and supporting continuous business change to further develop the Energy Markets businesses across regions and for ensuring dynamic response to continuous market and regulatory changes.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business processes, underlying IT services and closely engage with business users to get best possible IT solutions delivered to them.
  • Identifying, defining and then prioritizing technical and functional requirements.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
  • Interface daily with business users, cross functions teams, vendors etc.
  • Be able to identify project milestones, phases and dependencies; forming project team; establishing project budget.
  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; tracking budget; recommending actions.
  • Ensure incidents are managed, prioritized and assigned to right teams.
  • Support solutions team in implementation of enhancements, upgrades, new functionalities etc.

Requirements:

  • University degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or comparable education
  • 2-3 years of experience working in IT projects organization
  • Experience of working in an Energy Trading/Dispatch environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills, extreme flexibility to be able to work within project management and service management approach
