Job Description

The Communication Manager will be responsible for the central co-ordination and drive of marketing communications activities in the European region, developing and managing campaigns that align with the company’s strategic growth objectives and the Weir corporate brand guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and co-ordination of marketing communications activities that ensure the products, services and brands offered by Weir Minerals Europe are effectively promoted in alignment with the strategic growth objectives.
• Creation of content for marketing and communications campaigns, including collaboration with other departmental functions to support specific content needs.
• Co-ordination of advertising, editorial schedules, internal events, and participation in key trade shows and exhibitions.
• European marketing communications representative to the Weir Minerals Division, taking part in regular calls with key stakeholders.
• Custodian of marketing communications and functional purchase order databases.
• Support to internal communications needs as required by the Company.
• Photography and videography as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced office environment with ability to multi-task and execute to deadlines.
• Experience working in a marketing communications role
