This role is responsible for correctly, safely and efficiently processing, packaging and warehousing salt products for a salt manufacturing and packaging facility.

This position shall have the responsibility to report problems with health and food safety. This position has the responsibility to initiate and execute actions required by the supervisor. Acquire and maintain knowledge of HACCP/OPRP/PRP (GMP) policies and requirements to complete all monitoring and/or verifications tasks as outlined by the Food Safety Management.

 

Requirements:

• Ability to work in elevated areas.
• Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling and pounding with hammer.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Must be able to read/write English.
• Must be able to operate machinery.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
• Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.
• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
