Responsibilities:

  • Produce complex design solutions that meet the customer’s requirement & clearly communicate the requirements of the service to be provided.
  • Design solution to detail equipment, components, networks services, cabinet layouts, connectivity diagrams, and field teamwork instructions.
  • Identify and communicate risk, in respect to any impact on delivery within customer SLA’s.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies onto the secure defence infrastructure.
  • Work closely with customers, suppliers & stakeholders, maintaining the customer experience.
  • Track & update asset management databases with implemented design change.
  • Work to agreed operational performance measures, whilst maintaining the appropriate level of product, network & system knowledge for the role.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the delivery of Network/Connectivity infrastructure.
  • Good IT Literacy skills. (MS Office) Able to manipulate data, prepare documents and presentations.
  • Use of Microsoft Visio.
  • Prioritisation of complex workloads, dealing with multiple complex orders.
  • Ability to work both independently & collaboratively with internal/external customers.
  • Customer focused & result driven.
