Job Description

Progression and development is something we strongly believe in at B&M and we have an exciting new role for an experienced Management Development Trainer, to join us as we continue to grow our business. You will be responsible for delivering our Management Development Programmes enabling our teams across the UK to reach their full potential. North West based, the role will include extensive travel to cover our expanding national network.

Responsibilities:

• Review training material content, making recommendations for improvements on an ongoing basis
• Be responsible for identifying our training and development needs
• Amend, revise and improve programmes where necessary
• Support the training function across the organisation by developing, delivering and assessing training either on a one-to-one basis or in groups
• Research and design appropriate materials for management development training
• Monitor and review the progress of trainees as well as assessing the effectiveness of the training, by reviewing agreed and measurable outcomes
• Produce training materials for in-house courses

 

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and an energetic presenter, able to fully engage their audience
• Organised with good planning skills to manage your time and meet deadlines and objectives
• A delivery focused attitude with the ability to meet demanding deadlines
• Effective communication skills both written & verbal
• Experience of delivering Management development training – within a retail or hospitality environment
• Strong team working skills and a collaborative approach to learning, both face-to-face and remotely
• Able to inspire and challenge within teams to deliver out
