Job Description:

This role will provide you with an opportunity to work in a variety of scenarios and also work with the customer directly on an RAF base. You will be working in a very diverse Engineering environment both on Aircraft and Support equipment with day to day interaction with military and civilian personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the appropriate level of SHE standards and assurance activities are applied effectively across the Business and as such, the SHE Associate will be the entry first point of contact for SHE issues within the Business
• Providing guidance to all areas of the Business to ensure that all safety, health and environmental risks associated with operations meet the requirements within the timescales, quality standards in line with direction from the SHE Advisor
• Supporting the implementation and deployment of the Air SHE Policy and supporting SHE Management System
• Supporting local policies and procedures that may be required to supplement the SHE management system requirements

Requirements:

• Providing assurance that the SHE Management System and Site Operations are compliant with the
• BAE Systems Operational Framework and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Certifications
• Assisting with SHE Assurance activities, providing visibility of audit, corrective action and improvement planning / status in accordance with stakeholder requirements
