Job Description:

Would you like to play a key role in quality assurance; pursuing supplier engagement to improve the delivery of goods, auditing suppliers and investigating failures? We currently have a vacancy for a Quality Assurance Engineer at our site in Portsmouth Naval Base.

Responsibilities::

• Support suppliers with their corrective actions and root cause identification, ensuring corrective actions are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist with Quality Investigations that may be required internally and externally.
• Able to access, have clear understanding of and apply the Management System documentation.
• Measure, collate and analyse data, to inform senior stakeholders of trends and required improvements, supporting the input for the IRB.
• Support certification activity.
• Assist with quality documentation ensuring suppliers fully understand their Quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience conducting and leading supplier audits
• An understanding of warship support critical items regime.
• An understanding of the defence maritime environment
• A good understanding of SCAR and JOSCAR processes
