Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the QA Leadership Team and architects to help shape and implement the modernised test framework for automated validation of data between different source and destination tables/systems.
• Design the automation strategy aligned to IT strategy and quality standards in collaboration with other test architects and the wider QA function.
• Demonstrate a holistic approach of testing with automation-first mindset.
• Drive change and continuous improvement in testing approaches, practices, and techniques to help design and deliver the overall agile testing methodology used by the teams.
• Stay up to speed on tools, processes, practices, and technology developments to ensure they are brought in-house and enhance the solutions applied to the testing problems.

Requirements:

• Experience in Python scripting related to data validations across various tables/systems.
• Knowledge of Cypress with JavaScript/typescript and Selenium with any scripting language.
• Experience in Maven, Git, and Jenkins or any CI tools.
• Any framework experience preferred BDD framework.
• UI / API automation experience.
• Up-to-date testing industry knowledge and ability to bring new ways of working in-house to improve the output.
• Strong ability to coach/mentor testing and non-testing colleagues to improve test practices
