Job Description:
The Analyst, Global Recognition is responsible for supporting the Director, Global Recognition in developing event strategies for award-winning, best in class Colleague Experience Group (HR) programs that drive a culture of health and appreciation at American Express. This person will work closely with the Total Rewards & Well-being team to shape how we engage with our colleagues and help us consistently reinforce American Express’ culture and values. The ideal candidate must be creative, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with the proven ability to successfully bring high-profile events to life in a fast-paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines. They must be a detail-oriented project manager with excellent follow-through skills and a passion for creating engaging, innovative colleague experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Other job related duties as requested.
- Develops long-term strategies and sponsors key initiatives to promote and achieve an engaged culture of health & wellness and appreciation.
- Strategically collaborates with and builds relationships across functional divisions and key external stakeholders.
- Participates in ongoing analysis of key data identifying trends.
- Develops colleague recognition strategies globally to include reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for departmental recognition programs.
- Partners with communications team on communicating critical information to colleagues and ensuring all touchpoints reach a multi-generational diverse workforce.
- Work with colleagues across the organization to plan, develop and deliver a range of creative, innovative events to engage and inform our key audiences across the globe.
- Develops and executes event budgets, proposals, and timelines.
- Collects timely data to support business initiatives through focus groups, surveys, town halls, one-on-one interviews, and other methodology; evaluates and applies the data to support decisions.
Requirements:
- Position will currently be work-from-home due to COVID-19. American Express is committed to the well-being of its colleagues and to creating a safe work environment; colleagues will continue to work remotely until a return to the office can be safely accomplished.
