Prime Video is a premium streaming service that offers customers a vast collection of TV shows and movies – all with the ease of finding what they love to watch in one place. We offer customers thousands of popular movies and TV shows from Originals and Exclusive content to exciting live sports events.

Responsibilities:

• Our ideal candidate is autonomous, detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and has experience working at scale. You will be part of all stages of the software and hardware development life-cycle: definition, planning activities, design, implementation and delivery. You will be expected to lead the design and development of core features, drive team discussions on system architecture and component design, and influence the technical strategy for the product as a whole.

Requirements:

• Understanding and demonstrated experience working with core internet technologies (e.g. TCP/IP)
  Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
• Demonstrated UNIX (preferably Linux) systems engineering skills
• Proficient at designing software systems – from high-availability large-scale distributed systems to bespoke scripted solutions.
• Experience in automation via scripting and configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Salt, CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Bash experience plus knowledge of at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby)
